Exclusive Discounts and Solutions for ORLA Members through the Hospitality Associations Alliance Program

The Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association (ORLA) is part of a strategic alliance program to help address the diverse needs of the hospitality industry. The Hospitality Associations Alliance, a strategic alliance platform created by the National Restaurant Association and UnitedHealth Group, offers exclusive discounts and solutions that benefit ORLA members and their employees.

This alliance program provides access to more health care solutions and promotes and supports health and wellness in the hospitality industry. Here are some of the program’s members-only offerings:

HealthiestYou by Teladoc

Telemedicine ($7/mo includes employee + entire family with $0 copays)
  • Includes general medicine, mental health, dermatology, back pain and expert medical opinions. 
  • A great way for employees to meet virtually with a health professional to determine if their symptoms require leaving the house to go to a crowded clinic, urgent care or ER where they can be infected or spread the virus. 
  • Virtual visits are offered though employers who may choose to cost share with their employees.

Who is eligible?
  • All employees are eligible regardless of the number hours worked: full-time, part-time, furloughed.

What is the group size minimum?
  • Two or more enrolled employees, regardless of group size.

What is the cost?
  • $7.00 per employee per month. The rate includes spouses and children at no additional cost.

Is there an employer contribution requirement?
  • The employer can pay the entire per employee per month fee or can share the cost with the employee.

What forms of payment are accepted?
  • Business check and ACH are the forms of payment accepted by HealthiestYou by Teladoc. Because this is a group product, we will bill the employer every month for all enrolled employees and expect to receive a single monthly payment. Many employers will payroll deduct the HealthiestYou per employee per month cost.

What is the enrollment process?
  • Step 1. Fill out the online New Group Form.
  • Step 2. Sign the service agreement sent via DocuSign.
  • Step 3. Send us the employee eligibility data via the following methods:
    • Manual entry through our client portal (recommended for groups under 25 lives)
    • One-time census file
    • EDI file feed (groups 100+)

​How long is service agreement for?
  • The service agreement is for 12 months. You can terminate the service agreement at any time with a notice in writing. There are no fees to cancel.

Exclusive Health Care Discounts from UnitedHealthcare

UnitedHealthcare offers the following health care discounts for ORLA members:
  • Up to a 5% discount on manual medical rates for fully insured groups with 51 or more eligible employees.
  • An annual invoice credit of up to 5% on administrative fees for new ASO medical products for self-funded groups with 100 or more eligible employees.

Association Health Plan – Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust

RHA Benefit Trust
Available to small restaurant and lodging ORLA member employers with 2-99 eligible employees, the Restaurant & Hospitality Association Benefit Trust offers small businesses some of the same product selection and pricing flexibility advantages formerly available only to large employers.
  • Features a product portfolio with more than 100 health plan designs, including high-deductible options with health reimbursement accounts (HRAs) and health savings accounts (HSAs).
  • While the Trust is available in Oregon, it is not available in all states.
  • Insured and serviced by UnitedHealthcare.

  • Teladoc is offering unlimited, no-copay mental health and medical virtual appointments via their app and website to National Restaurant Association members for $7 per employee, per month.
