ORLAEF partners with the industry to provide workforce development solutions.
Hospitality management professions are expected to grow 5–8% in the next decade. In Oregon, the hospitality industry is a $9.2 billion industry, directly generating some 91,100 jobs and indirectly creating another 41,000 jobs. As a result, 1 out of every 9 jobs in Oregon is in the hospitality industry.
As hospitality careers expand, restaurant and hospitality industries are in need of well-trained, highly knowledgeable and skilled professionals. ORLA and its Education Foundation support educational opportunities and job training programs that help ensure the vitality of one of Oregon’s largest economic drivers - the hospitality industry.
