Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association (ORLA)

Mission: To serve as the leading industry advocate, striving to protect, improve and promote Oregon Hospitality.

ORLA is the leading business association for the foodservice and lodging industry in Oregon. A not-for-profit trade organization, ORLA represents close to 3,000 members and advocates for over 11,300 foodservice locations and over 2,000 lodging establishments.

​The hospitality industry is the 2nd largest business sector in the state. ​In 2024, our industry provided over 201,300 jobs and brought in over $14 billion in annual sales for the state.

Oregon Hospitality Foundation (OHF)

Mission: To support the workforce, educational, training, and philanthropic needs of Oregon’s hospitality industry.

The Oregon Hospitality Foundation is an independent 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to building a stronger, more sustainable hospitality workforce in Oregon.

By connecting educators, workforce programs, and industry leaders, OHF supports career technical education (CTE), job training, and community engagement efforts that prepare individuals for successful careers in hospitality.

Leadership & Staff

Boards of Directors: The Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association (ORLA) is supported by three boards, each playing a vital role in advancing the industry across the state. Meet the Boards.

  • ORLA Board of Directors: 23 members (restaurant, lodging, and vendor reps) guiding overall association strategy; meets quarterly alongside major ORLA events.
  • ORLA Member Services (ORLAMS) Board: 9 members focused on vendor partnerships and group buying opportunities; meets 2–3 times per year.
  • Oregon Hospitality Foundation (OHF) Board: 11 members leading workforce development efforts; oversees ProStart in 48 high schools and Guest Service Gold training.

Staff: ORLA has a dedicated team of professionals working every day to support and elevate Oregon’s hospitality industry. From advocacy and workforce development to member services and industry promotion, our staff is committed to helping businesses thrive statewide. Meet the Team.
