Reopening Oregon BusinessesSERVING OREGON HOSPITALITY
Staffing shortages are unfortunately a common theme across the industry, often leading to delays and impatience among customers. ORLA has developed a free resource that may help in encouraging customers to “be kind and patient” with staff that are working hard to provide service. COMMITMENT TO SAFETY PROGRAM
ORLA recently updated the comprehensive Commitment to Safety checklists for both restaurant and lodging operations. The checklists were developed with industry input to serve as helpful guides to improve operational safety related to COVID-19 and in support of our industry employees and customers. Access Checklists Members can complete the checklist online in the Member Portal (log in here) or print the pdf below:
Commitment to Safety Seal By completing the checklist, ORLA members can earn a Commitment to Safety Seal window decal and digital graphic to prominently display for customers and employees. Click here to see a growing list of businesses with the Seal. Safety Postings Help amplify your commitment to safety with consumer-facing postings that reinforce the key points of face coverings, physical distancing, and increased sanitation to your guests. In addition to the physical postings, these graphics are available as digital assets to utilize for web and social media. Table Sanitation Cards ORLA has also developed Table Sanitation Cards that can be printed and used to help manage seating and sanitation. If your company is not currently a member but would like to earn a Commitment to Safety Seal and utilize these collaterals to help amplify your efforts, please reach out to your ORLA Regional Representative and learn more about the range of benefits that come with a membership in your statewide association.
