TRAINING THE FUTURE OF THE INDUSTRYProStart® is a nationwide career technical education (CTE) program supported by the Oregon Hospitality Foundation that involves approximately 4,000 Oregon high school students from 40 schools around the state who learn from an industry-derived, competency-based curriculum that teaches culinary techniques and restaurant management skills, coupled with real-life restaurant sector experiences. With local and national support from industry members, educators, state associations, and the National Restaurant Association Educational Foundation (NRAEF), ProStart reaches more than 150,000 students in 1,900 high schools across 50 states - fostering prosperity in the restaurant industry by developing the next generation of industry leaders.
