Tax Credit for PAC Donations
Did you know Oregon has a unique political tax credit allowing individuals a no-cost way to support ORLAPAC? This is a dollar-for-dollar credit, not a deduction like your home mortgage interest deduction or contributions to a charity. Contributions must be dated no later than December 31st to receive the credit on your Oregon tax return (up to $100 for joint filers and up to $50 per individual). Oregon’s Political Tax Credit is not a refundable credit, so if your taxes are already zero, you won’t get your $50 back. |
