Reopening Oregon with a Commitment to Safety
At the Oregon Restaurant & Lodging Association, we feel it is our responsibility to make sure hospitality operators have every tool available to them to showcase our industry’s commitment to safety as Oregon businesses take steps to reopen.
With industry input, ORLA has developed comprehensive Commitment to Safety checklists for both restaurant and lodging operations to show compliance with best practices connected to customer and employee safety related to COVID-19. These restaurant and lodging checklists are being made available to all industry operators. We hope the checklists serve as a helpful guide to improve operational safety in support of our industry employees and customers. Please note, these checklists are meant to be suggestions for going "above and beyond" and in addition to all federal, state or local guidelines, rules or regulations.
By completing the checklist, ORLA members can earn a Commitment to Safety Seal to prominently display for customers and employees. In addition, members will be provided collaterals to help amplify your commitment to safety, including; window clings stating "Committed to Safety," consumer-facing flyers to post highlighting key checklist items, and digital assets to utilize for web and social media.
Members can complete the checklist in a quick, digital format by accessing the link in the Member Portal (log in here) or print and send the checklist to Membership@OregonRLA.org. Once the checklist is received, ORLA will send you the collaterals.
If your company would like to earn a Commitment to Safety Seal and utilize these collaterals to help amplify your efforts, please reach out to your ORLA Regional Representative to learn more about the range of benefits that come with a membership in your statewide association:
